Don't Worry Be Happy

We all worry about things and this often takes the edge of our happiness, and makes us miserable.

We worry about all different things: money, health, our jobs , the state of the world, our pets, our other halves and, probably least of all, ourselves.
We just need to tell ourselves that this period of time won’t last forever.

Why do we worry? We can't alter things! It is what it is to coin a phrase. Instead of worry, put the shoe on the other foot, be grateful for what we have. Ok as you get older, you’re not as fit as you were but it happens to everybody. Be grateful that you are alive, and got your mobility, food on the table and to an extent your health and can live a good life. It's surprising how much different it will make you feel. Change your outlook on life, be positive.

There are thousands of people in this world a lot worse off than we are. Just look at kids in hospital or kids who know they will only have a short lifespan for one reason or another, they get on with their lives and don't worry about things. We always think our worries are massive but they aren’t in comparison to some.

I know at times we do have reasons to worry, but make sure you worry about important things, not trivial stuff and turn the minus situation into a plus .


So, let's try and change our outlook on life and be happy and grateful for what we have and just remember, you always feel a lot better if you can smile.
